Sales Engineer (based in the EU)
Function
The mission
After a thorough training period, the sales engineer will be responsible for de development of sales in the EMEA region.
The responsibilities:
- New customer acquisition through consultative selling of machine vision solutions in manufacturing automation projects in all types of industries.
- Sales expansion through channel partners.
- Cross- & upselling of machine vision solutions to existing customers within the CCS Group.
- Support country sales teams in the implementation of the promotional plan.
- Generate customer insights.
- Lead generation and market intelligence.
- Implement and manage a forecasting system.
- Develop accurate annual sales budgets.
Profile
The ideal sales engineer will have the following profile.
- University degree, preferably in (Business) engineering (electromechanics, automation, robotics,)
- Highly curious mind and affinity with technological innovations and innovations in factory automation.
- Very flexible and adaptable with a good general business understanding
- Willingness to travel frequently in the EMEA region.
- Excellent interpersonal & negotiation skills with the ability to interact effectively throughout various functional groups and hierarchical levels.
- Excellent knowledge of English is a must + at least one other EU language (e.g.: French, German)
- Strong analytical (numeric & strategic) and process thinking capabilities.
- The ideal candidate has a first successful consultative sales experience in factory automation.
