For our client located in 1160 Brussels, we are looking for a :

HR & Payroll Officer

Function

As the payroll officer , you will be the reference person for our Belgian employees and our Sales Managers across Europe. You will manage the entire chain of Payroll and HR Administration topics and are open to evolve and take on other topics as you grow.

Your role :

  • You act as the point of contact for any inquiries about the payroll and HR administrative related concerns both for all employees (Belgian & European- only white colour)
  • You are responsible for an efficient payroll closure for both Belgian and European employees in cooperation with our social secretary (SD Worx) ; this also includes the holiday pay and 13th month.
  • You manage the onboarding and exit process and ensure a correct and social compliance entrance and exit with all HR admin processes
  • You are responsible for the compensation & benefits of our employees ; from bonusses, fleet management (cars & E-bike) to insurances and other possible fringe benefits
  • You set up the Headcount and HR budget together with our Finance Department and do a monthly control on the expenses
  • You manage and maintain our employee’s database and company policies and ensure that they are constantly up-to-date.
  • You continuously advice HR team based on your knowledge of current labour, social & tax laws and regulations in order to improve our best practices.
  • You will manage our stock keeper and handle together the events & facilities
  • You actively participate in cross-sectional projects.

Profile

  • You have a bachelor's degree in HR Payroll or equivalent by experience
  • You have at least 10 years of experience with payroll and personnel administration within a large complex organization.
  • You have a good knowledge of French and English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
  • You have a first experience in people management (interns/students or employees)
  • You have a positive attitude and are solution oriented
  • You can work smoothly in a team, but you also have the necessary maturity and autonomy to independently complete your payroll processes.
  • You work purposefully and accurately, even under time pressure and this within a complex and rapidly changing environment
  • You are eager to learn and always look for ways to carry out the work better and more efficiently.
