One of its main activities is the distribution of industrial products for the HVAC markets, such as refrigerants, heat transfer fluids, industrial gases, oils, etc.

In the Benelux region, they operate as 2 renowned brands, each with its own corporate identity, product ranges and customer profiles.

The main customers are refrigeration, air conditioning and heating companies, but also automotive companies.

In the Benelux region, they have two production facilities, 4 sales offices and approximately 40 employees. The headquarters for Europe and export is in Brussels.

For its headquarters in Berchem-op-Zoom and its factory in Sint Niklaas, a new function is created to support the strong growth of the Group.

In order to strengthen its team, we are looking for :

Logistics/Transport Manager


To be responsible for the organisation and optimisation of the transport services of an operation by setting up and managing the technical, human and regulatory means necessary for the execution of transport services for BeNeLux and Germany.

Job description:

  • Search and select (sourcing) new carriers in collaboration with the Supply-Chain department.
  • Select the most suitable carrier(s) from the panel for specific deliveries.
  • Drawing up transport estimates for exceptional operations.
  • Ensure the reservation, follow-up or adjustment of the transport schedule according to specific needs and in coordination with the sales administration department.
  • Carry out the regulatory and administrative management of shipments.
  • Follow up the processing of complaints and possible disputes in the field of logistics, with the carriers.
  • Checking and validating transport invoices.
  • Checking the conformity and quality of transport services, with regard to the customer order, regulatory specifications and legislation.
  • Produce the annual report on the achievements and skills of the transporters in collaboration with the Purchasing-Transport Department.
  • Handle any complaints and disputes in the field of logistics, with internal/external customers and transporters.
  • Manage the entire logistics management documentation system.
  • Organise and update commercial databases.
  • Controlling and reporting regularly on the performance of his/her activities and results to his/her hierarchy.


  • 2/3 years of higher education (BTS / DUT / Licence Pro) in logistics and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in logistics is required.
  • Bilingual in French and Dutch, a good knowledge of English and/or German would be a plus.
