To strengthen its marketing department, Schréder is looking for a Product Manager for its Large Area & Industry segment.


As Product Manager, you will be in charge of a set of products and later in charge of a business sub-segment for the Group. You will drive the full marketing strategy and also responsible to drive the business in order to build revenues and profitability today and in the next 3 to 5 years for its assigned sub-segment(s).

Concretely, your missions include:

  • Market Analysis & Customer Intimacy : Understand trends, identify partnership opportunities, be close to the market, synthetize customer insights, analyze how to create differentiation, value pricing, …)
  • Create a clear vision & 3-5 year roadmap : Define company vision and 3-5 year growth/profitability objectives, make & defend business plan, …
  • Product Roadmap Execution & Delivery : Define new product candidates & prepare SPRINT, define & prioritize segment product cost reduction plans and performance upgrades. In cooperation with R&D, prioritize R&D resources according to highest possible ROI / business strategy. Communicate the roadmap and plans to the wider organization, …
  • Product Launch & Downstream Product Management: Define & contribute to development of communication programs, marketing campaigns, tools, and training programs aimed to drive profitable growth and visibility for internal, external stakeholders, support Product Launch, product administration,…
  • Business Support : Take an active role for important projects, support commercial team during pre-sales phase and/or coordinate internal resources to deliver required support to close the project.

In this role, you are the CEO of your product segment. You have a key role, with a real impact on the future of the company and the opportunity to innovate.

The team

You join a team of 2 Product Managers and work closely with the development, production and sales team.

You report directly to the Business Segment Manager, Cedric Collard. Cédric is a hands-on manager who listens. He likes to coach his teams, advise them and guide them. His responsiveness and dynamism make him an available manager, whose priority is to unblock urgent situations and whose decision-making process is fast.


You have…

  • A Master's degree in business, business engineering, economics, engineering (mechanical, electromechanical, ...) or a relevant field.
  • Ideally 3 to 5 years of experience.
  • Excellent spoken and written English, any other European language is an asset.
  • A thorough understanding of business processes and strategy development.
  • Marketing, strategy and product launch skills.
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
  • Knowledge of data visualization: Power BI.
  • Advanced computer skills in MS Office.
